Indie Interviews #14: Spiros and Anesty Carasoulos
Continued
FC:
I think I read somewhere that you submitted Drop Bow
to the reality show On
the Lot. Is that true, and if so what do you hope
to get from that?
Spiros: Yes, that is true. When you are dealing
with indie films you have to take any chance you can get for some
exposure, that’s basically why we submitted to On The
Lot. The trailer for the movie has been viewed about 1000
times on the
site, the viewers also leave feedback and give it a rating.
It has been a good place to get feedback from the audience.
Anesty: It would be great to be part of the show,
aside from all the added exposure, you would get to be involved
in the making of films with very talented people, and have the
resources behind you that we can only dream of.
FC:
What's the future of Drop Box and what else does the
future hold for the Carasouloses?
Spiros: You can buy
Drop Box through various online outlets. You can check out
www.DropBoxTheMovie.com
and hit the “Get Movie” link to find out where. You
can also check out the MySpace.com
page. Feel free to add us. Right now we are focusing most
our effort on promoting Drop Box. It is hard to get attention
with an indie film, even one that is about a celebrity sex tape.
We hope to make another film in the future. We’re still
looking for the right idea for a follow up. In the mean time we
like to conceptualize movie premises every day by bouncing ideas
off one another.

above. TheFilmChair.com's review of the film is available here.
