You have know idea how long I’ve waited to see a poster for Where the Wild Things Are. It’s happening. It’s actually happening.
If it seems like the adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s book has been in production FOREVER, that’s because it has been. Spike Jonze and company have been making this film since 2006 and last year it looked like Warner was on the verge of scrapping the whole thing. Thankfully Warner came to its senses and decided to go ahead with Jonze’s vision.
Can you wait for this one? I know I can’t.
Where the Wild Things Are, directed by Spike Jonze, hits theaters on Oct. 16.
