THR reports that acclaimed actor Peter Sarsgaard is in negotiations to play the supervillain Dr. Hector Hammond in Martin Campbell’s The Green Lantern. Now that Spider-Man 4 is officially delayed, with DHD even reporting that the VFX team involved was instructed to look for other work, two major releases have shifted their 2011 releases to fill the void. Director Martin Campbell’s wife Sol Romero has a role in The Green Lantern. At least that’s what the actress told SCI FI Wire.
