Woody Harrelson And Matthew McConaughey Are Bad Men In The Full Trailer for TRUE DETECTIVE
HBO is certainly confident of its upcoming crime drama True Detectives starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as two detectives on a decades long hunt for a Louisiana serial killer. The show isn’t set to premiere until January, but it’s getting a major push early with this brilliantly cut trailer. It looks like Hannibal, The Killing and The Following (okay, mostly Hannibal) will have some competition for TV’s smartest, most finely crafted serial killer drama. When we watched the teaser, we understood how hypnotic the show might be, especially with all eight episodes directed by Cary Fukunaga. But we didn’t get to see just how good McConaughey and Harrelson were likely to be as the pair of tortured cops. If McConaughey doesn’t win an Oscar this year (which would be a travesty) at least he’ll have a shot at an Emmy next...

Probably the most anticipated small screen superhero news out there right now is who’s going to play Barry Allen in Arrow‘s Flash episodes. We won’t have to wait very long at all, because according to EW, the Flash’s first episode starts filming on Sept. 30… just 21 days from now. Or as the show’s producer Andrew Kreisberg puts it: “We’ll have to have somebody by Sept. 30, which is when we start shooting [his first] episode. So there is that timeline.” But this is the internet and what would a post like this be like without a little speculation. Over at Latino Review, two names have popped up as potential contenders for the role of Barry Allen/The Flash. First we have James MacKay MacKay is an Australian actor who has mostly starred in low budget horror movies and was featured in...
Read MoreThere’s A LUTHER Movie In The Works!
One of the greatest things about Netflix streaming is you get to experience shows like Luther, something you’re not likely to have sought out even on BBC America. The psychological thriller about DCI Luther (Idris Elba), a brilliant but hot-headed British cop, investigating some of the most heinous crimes in London. Along the way, he’s helped and hindered by a female serial killer who he could never prove was a criminal. It’s very much a Clarice/Hannibal relationship with reversed sexes. If you haven’t seen this amazing show yet, now’s the time to get caught up. Because according to the show’s creator, he’s got a script for a Luther movie already finished. According to Deadline, the film will serve as a prequel to the series, following the early career of DCI Luther and his relationship with his now ex-wife Zoe. The film’s...
Read MoreWalt’s Most Disturbing Message To Hank, Yet
Thanks to one little video that Walt gives Hank in the third of the final eight episodes of Breaking Bad, we now have what will likely go down as one of the best memes ever. I’m sure many, many more of these will pop up over the next few weeks, especially when there are seven seasons of Malcolm in the Middle to pull from. Like this. But here’s the most disturbing message...
Read MoreARROW Season Two Poster Revealed!
Arrow. It’s the one exciting thing DC and Warner Bros. have going for themselves when it comes to superhero adaptations. (Sorry, Supes.) Maybe, just maybe, they’ll be connect up the show to the greater DC Cinematic Universe. We already know it’s building one of it’s own with the Flash joining the show this season, and then spinning off into his own show down the road. Chances are that’s not going to happen, but we can be content knowing that the Hood will be on our TV screens ever Wednesday this fall, starting on Oct. 8. And in the promo push leading up to the season premiere, Arrow‘s official Twitter account shared the first poster for the new season with the world. Now my only question… whose that guy second from the left? It looks like Slade Wilson so maybe Deathstroke...
Read MoreARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Creator: I’m Working On The Movie Right Now
Mitch Hurwitz has some great news for us Arrested Development fans. He’s working on the movie. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the show’s creator confirmed that a motion picture is in the works but had this to say about the future: “I can’t get into much more detail because I don’t want to scare anybody off. I don’t want to be presumptuous about it. I don’t own the property outright – it’s a 20th Century Fox property. But everybody seems really into it and really eager to make a movie.” Still, Hurwitz has a master plan. Once the movie is complete, whenever that is, he’ll move on to a fifth season of the show, presumably at Netflix. As a defender of the fourth season (I think it’s the series’ best), I personally can’t wait to see what Hurwitz has...
