Will Chewbacca Return For STAR WARS VII?

We already know that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are set to return for Star Wars: Episode VII. But what about the fourth member of that fateful team? Well, if you’re to believe a UK casting call, chances are Chewbacca is coming back, too.

Over at Den of Geek, they’ve posted what appears to be a request by Bad Robot, Disney and Lucas Film for a very large man for an “Untitled Studio Feature.” So what are they looking for?

“Male, 7 ft to 7.3 ft tall with a slim/thin build and upright posture. Not too worked out or too ‘thick set’ especially in the shoulders. Broad facial features would be a bonus”.

Sounds like a Wookie to me. And given that we know the original characters will play some role in Episode VII, the logical conclusion is that they are casting Chewie. After all, Peter Mayhew, who is unfortunately now wheelchair bound, stands exactly 7′ 3″.

Sure, it could be just another Wookie, but how could Han return without Chewbacca? You know the fans wouldn’t allow that.
